Bravehost - Sponsors yet another Cool Canadian Webmaster!

It's a link to another one of my little low-key websites for y'all to check out...

Where did October go? Man, I know my Birthday was in there somewhere and everything but still, the whole month has just flashed by! Here's a couple of little pics I took recently to show some of the projects I'm workin' on and some of the gear I use. Lately the big kick has been in the fine art/science of EDC's. More on those later, but for now, have yourself a peek @ some of the shit I'm into in these shots...

Essential Woods Gear...

Here's a kool little fire-stick or ferro rod to get you fire, a tiny but powerful white led light or torch as they are often referred to by Outdoorsmen and a real slick mini lock-back that lives on my keyring every day. All this power in such a tiny pack...

How 'bout this freaky little Mushroom I found out in the deep woods last week? Anyone ever seen this wicked little shroom in their travels? Drop me a note about it if you have. I'd love to hear about it and maybe what it is called etc.

Here's a very Soft kid leather, low-key, go anywhere, belt pouch, with a sample of some of the gear that travels in it. The twonie shows the size of everything so you can see that it's all pretty small and unassuming.

Ok, I'm calmed down now. I found out why my other post didn't show up for awhile... I had put in an exclamation mark in my title section. Good God, how picky is that? Anyway, I fixed it up with my little three dots thingy and it liked that alright. Sorry about the wtf post.

11 43 on Sunday mornin'
Lordy, Lordy, how time doth fly. Sooo much has happened since I dropped in here last. Man, life is such a learning experience. The longer I live, the more I realize I have lots of cool stuff left to experience...Knowledge is indeed the key to one's success, provided it comes with experience and not just book learnin' stuff.

Hopefully, now that things have settled down a little in my life, I will make an effort to get into this bloggin' stuff again here. I love sharing kool shit with folks who wanna know how it really goes...

In a few hours it'll be 2007. Man oh man, There are always where did the year go? Seems the older I get, the faster they go. :-( Did you have a good one? Lots of nice highlights? Lots of good stuff happen to you in '06? Ya know, that's what life really IS all about. Having good stuff happen to you. If that's not what's shakin' in your life, then you've gotta change that. If there is a lot of bad stuff goin' on in your life, you've really got to look very closly at the way you are going about doing things. There are always better ways, to do anything. There is definately NO shortage of knowledge out there to-day folks. Never before in the history of time has the common man had so much powerful information at his fingertips. So much to learn.

I love learning. To go from 45 years of outdoorsy, bush related interests, to joining the Internet and creating websites in the last ten, is my way of proving that. The way I see it, the more you know, the more you can enjoy your life. The really kool part about that is, YOU get to pick what you want to learn and at what speed and intensity you want to learn it at! Wow, just reflect on that for a minute...

A person could get pretty darn good at something, if they followed that criteria, now couldn't they? Hope ya hear what I'm tryin' to tell you. :-)

Just in time for '07, I've got a neat little Ebook or two here, for any of you that have found my wee blog like you did. A little new years gift, if you will, just for coming. Simply use the link below to go over to one of my other websites, find the Ebook link there and click away. They are very small, yet quite kool, downloads. All the BEST in 2007!

Gotta run,

Happy New Year!!!

Kool Canadian Webmaster...

Well, it's Sunday again and I'm having my first cup of java after turning on the computer. Ran out of sugar so I'm using honey instead, which I'm quickly runnin' out of too. It's cloudy and sombre looking out the window, so I'm in no hurry to go anywhere, too soon. It's nice to relax and let the body build up it's power again. Burnt a ton of calories yesterday riding out to one of my secret spots, where I picked a handful of late blueberries. This is the only place I've found around Ottawa in the last 35 plus years where these beautiful little morsels live. The terrain there is much like it was in Sudbury, where I grew up. There is old rock there, reindeer moss, lush lichen, boggy, low areas, stunted maples, birch, and poplars. It's also right next to a big cattail marsh so there are plenty of ducks, geese and many other birds around. Deer tracks are everywhere and I found two new laydown areas in the shade where deer have rested during the afternoons heat spells. I love finding remote areas on the fringes of cities and towns where other people don't go! Virgin country, I call it.

Note to self...

Must BLOG more!!!
